Editorial Review: Get the ShowerBreezeTM! This ingenious device flushes out loosely attached plaque and food particles trapped between teeth and under the gum line, where brushing and flossing can not reach. Attach the ShowerBreezeTM to any shower head for easy accessibility and IMMEDIATE RESULTS. The unit has a volume control from complete off to compete on and everything in between. Valve is constructed of chrome plated brass.

This is the best oral irrigator that I have ever owned. It was very easy to install too. Works as advertised...how refreshing! Should also mention that the service was excellent and rapid.

Puts counter top models to shame!, 2008-06-04
I received my ShowerBreeze two weeks ago and I came here to sing its praises but I see that everything I wanted to say has pretty much been covered already by the other reviewers. I do have to say that I'm glad I opted for the 6' hose instead of the 3' because it allows me the option of irrigating at the sink OR in the shower. Great product at a great price - and delivery was faster than I expected.

Preferred over WaterPik!, 2008-06-03
I recently had dental work done and made myself a promise to improve my oral hygiene. In looking for a Waterpik, I came across this product, but after much deliberation bought the waterpik since they were brand name, and besides it was more expensive and had fancy gadgets included! (had to be better, right?) I had never used a waterpik before but found that its primary function is to do the same thing the oral breeze does, except that it is very noisy, takes up counter space and an outlet and needed to be refilled before I finished using it 9 times out of 10. So.. one week later I ordered the Oral Breeze. Hooked it up myself and stuck the holder for the tips on the wall of the shower, no problem! But the best part is that it works just as well and maybe better since the water flow adjusts to any level, and NO NOISE!. I am going to order the sink version as well and send the waterpik back! I should also mention that prior to recieving the product I got an email from the man who markets this product. I thought, ok here goes the pitch to buy more!... but was pleased to find instruction for mixing your own dental rinse using household ingredients and tips on using the product. This was really refreshing and makes it obvious that the focus is on helping others rather than making more sales. Bottom line: Don't hesitate buying this! I always thought "you get what you pay for" but this experience has proven me wrong. Simpler is most definately better in this case!

Great product, but use it carefully, 2008-05-22
This is one of those products that make me wonder how I ever managed without one. I actually look forward to "showering" my gums with this device at the end of the day. I've never used a standard countertop oral irrigator, so I can't compare them, but one of the great things about the ShowerBreeze is that it gives you great freedom to move the nozzle around in your mouth and explore without worrying about the water flying everywhere. The pressure can be quite strong, which tickles at first, but you will eventually learn how to harness that energy. One caution: I found that spraying behind my rearmost bottom molars for a prolonged period seemed to dislodge or displace part of my gumline, or perhaps it caused (or cured?) an inflammation of the gum. In any case, this resulted in horrible, chronic halitosis until I stopped spraying back there for a week or so. The moral: It's possible to irrigate TOO aggressively with this thing and not even realize it because it feels so good. I use a more indirect approach now, like aiming the jet more at my teeth and letting the spatter irrigate my gumline. My only other complaint is that the whole hose thing is unsightly and looks like something you might find in a retirement home. But it gets the job done.
