I love this item. Easy to use, easy to install. I use it everyday right in the shower. I have noticed a big difference in my teeth and gums within a week. I would highly recommend this item. I will be buying two more for a couple of friends.

Great Device, 2007-09-20
I want to thank the inventor of this great oral irrigator. This irrigator couldn't do a better job. It feels just as if I've gone to the dentist for my routine cleanings. This irrigator installed in the shower makes cleaning in the mornings a true breeze.
I've had about 5 or 6 irrigators over the last 15 or so years. They were always a bit of a bother to fill and plus they cluttered up the counter. The rechargeable ones never lasted very long for me. Unlike those counter irrigators or rechargeables, there is truly nothing to go wrong with this irrigator so I don't forsee any replacements or repairs.
I'm a true believer of this device. Now I am going to order the irrigator that attaches to the bathroom sink, for "breezing" after lunch and dinner. I'm also going to order some as Christmas gifts.

Wow! This is awesome., 2007-08-23
Granted I've never used a water pick before, so my experience in this area is limited, but I have to say I'm quite impressed with this product. I had a dentist appointment and I was told that the area around one of my back molars was infected. They were going to give me an antibiotic for it, but I couldn't take it b/c I'm a nursing mom.
The hygenist recommended using a water pick (and rinsing with Listerine). She showed me the name brand one and how to use it, so off I went in search for one. I read the reviews and was disheartened by the fact that the name brand water pick did not have very good reviews and that the other kinds were lemons.
The Oral Breeze products got such great reviews. So I gave this product a chance and I'm glad I did. Unlike the name brand water pick, this attaches directly to your faucet. You can control the pressure and temperature. You don't have to fill a tank or refill for that matter. Since my husband also uses it, we ended up ordering the additional water picks as well and it came with a pick holder. The pick holder suctions to the wall or where you want which is great. Once you're done with the attachment, you simply remove it from the faucet and store it away. It's so compact that we store it in our medicine cabinet along with the picks.
This is a very basic, straightforward product. If you're used to bells and whistles, you might think this product is overpriced. But considering that it doesn't require a motor to power the water or a tank to fill with water and you probably won't need to replace any parts (except the picks after long time use), I'd say it's worth the money.

great product, 2007-05-28
I have used Shower Pik for at least 15 years. The old one was all plastic and lasted that long. I bought this new one and it is metal and plastic should last even longer.
My dentist always gives me good reports about my gums. This works and it is so convient I don't skip on using it.
